The performing Arts is for him an important aspect where he pursues his passion as a singer-songwriter.  He was a founder of the St. Lawrence Acoustic Stage in Morrisburg (Ontario), the famous French Café on English Road in Iroquois (Ontario). He worked to promote classical music with the Fort Town Concert Association in Prescott (Ontario).

He was also in charge of promoting internationally renowned artists for Canadian tours with Troubadour Studio. Mario has produced 6 CDs, and 3 albums (Sans Me Dire, Africa's My Home and Don’t Let Me Fall) are now for sale on iTunes.  

He lives in the Lévis (Québec) region and has always produced songs for intimate concerts and festivals.

Mario Pronovost graduated from Berklee College Of Music in Boston, U.S.A. (songwriting and guitar), Laval University (Quebec) in graphic communication, Sheridan College in Oakville (Ontario) in computer graphics, received guitar-making training with the Édouard-Montpetit College in Longueuil (Quebec), and took regular courses with the Quebec Council of Music.

Over the years, he specialized in acoustic music composition.  

He started his concerts in Ontario more precisely when the Stephen Lewis Foundation asked him to compose a song for the Grannies of Africa, which he entitled « Africa's My Home », he performed brilliantly for an audience of 250 people during a fundraiser in Morrisburg, Ontario.

Since 2006, Mario Pronovost has been involved in several fundraisers, including the Stephen Lewis Foundation and the SPCA while presenting his original songs.
