As part of the 2023-2024 Culture Days, Lévis
is performing at L'Anglicane, that we were given the opportunity to discover Mario Pronovost, singer-songwriter, originally from Lévis. We were charmed by the maturity and originality of his material. The first notes quickly revealed to us
an experienced artist in full possession of his art. Of undeniable professionalism, on stage,

“Don’t Let Me Fall” The first listen was quite surprising. Sound quality, choice of your musical acolytes, as well as the photo direction, immediately testified to your professionalism.
First of all, we were shocked to see how much
you master the guitar!!! Impressive. The lyrics “Hear my voice” and “I pray for women” about
your grandmothers are as touching as they are stunning. Your voice is warm and enveloping, particularly in the lower registers. We love it!
The text of “Slow Dance” is thought-provoking
and sets the record straight... it makes us feeling
good. Finally our favorite is without a doubt
“MY GYPSY ROAD”!!! The intensity, the rhythm, the emotion, the progression of the movement,
the catchy riffs, everything is there a dominant piece and we roll over it ! We sometimes find ourselves humming a few phrases from different pieces of tone CD and it makes us laugh to see how much we included some of them! Thanks Mario for this generosity !
